Things to do in San Francisco - Embarcadero Center Walkway POPOS #4 #UrbanTrekUSATips

This #UrbanTrekUSATips by Urban Trek USA a San Francisco private walking and city tour. BEST city tour for an IMMERSIVE San Francisco EXPERIENCE. Get off the tour bus, urban trek with us!.

This tip is one of those not very popular things to do in San Francisco but worthwhile doing if you are in the Financial District. The Embarcadero Center is comprised of four buildings and they have walkways that connect one building to the next. These walkways have seating, plants, flowers, sculptures and have nice views of the high-rise office buildings. What I like most about this area is it is not crowded even when the streets below have a lot of people walking. Therefore, if you feel like being away from the crowd then the Embarcadero Center walkways is a good place to visit. You can bring your lunch or snack and sit at one of the many seating areas. Or you can just rest and have a little bit of peace and quiet.

In my opinion, the best way to walk is to start from One Embarcadero and walk to Four Embarcadero because the view walking that direction is better than the opposite direction. There are stairs from Sansome Street (between Sacramento & Clay) that will lead you to the walkway. Refer to the first two photos below.
