This #UrbanTrekUSATips for things to do in San Francisco by Urban Trek USA a SMALL GROUP San Francisco walking tour providing a real IMMERSIVE San Francisco city tour EXPERIENCE. Why just simply visit and see the ordinary stuff when you can join an urban trek San Francisco walking tour and EXPERIENCE the wonderful.
Yerba Buena Gardens located along Mission Street between 4th and 3rd Streets is a nice green open space in the middle of the urban jungle (downtown). There are also an indoor ice skating rink, bowling alleys, the Metreon, a food court, Target, an arts center and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. The SF MOMA is also just across the street (on 3rd Street). What I like most is the green open space. I like going up above the waterfalls of the MLK Jr. Memorial where there is a sitting area with a panoramic view of the green space below and the tall buildings around the area.
From April to October, there are FREE events (i.e. musical, cultural, circus, etc.) during lunch time and after work hours for your entertainment. Click here to the calendar of events.
Urban Trek USA is an excellent resource for your San Francisco visit; providing self-guided directions for visitors to explore San Francisco like a long-time resident would, plus tips on whatever would be helpful to those who are visiting San Francisco.

Things to do in San Francisco - Alta Plaza Park in Pacific Heights #UrbanTrekUSATips
This #UrbanTrekUSATips by Urban Trek USA San Francisco SMALL GROUP walking tour. BEST city tour for an IMMERSIVE San Francisco EXPERIENCE. Maximum of only 7 people per group. Get off the tour bus, urban trek with us!
One of the best things about San Francisco is that the city has a lot of parks. From what I know, you can walk 10 minutes and you will be in a park; some smaller, some bigger and some somewhat hidden.
One park that I really like is Alta Plaza Park in the Pacific Heights neighborhood. The Pacific Heights neighborhood is a wealthy neighborhood, if not the wealthiest neighborhood, in San Francisco. The view from this neighborhood is likely the reason why homes sell for millions. Therefore, Alta Plaza Park is one of the parks that has awesome views. The best view, in my opinion, is facing the south side where you can see some of the Victorian houses, hills and buildings (see panoramic photo below). The north side has a bit of nice view of San Francisco Bay. Alta Plaza Park also has a nice playground with a view of the south side (best view as I mentioned).
Other things to do near Alta Plaza Park are:
a. The house used in the movie "Mrs. Doubtfire" located two blocks away at 2640 Steiner Street (corner of Broadway).
b. Fillmore Street (between Jackson & Sutter) is a street lined with nice stores, boutiques, restaurants, bars, dessert places and cafes.
This is a panoramic photo of the south side view:
