For a refreshing treat the bubble tea at Boba Guys is one of the best things to have, especially on those warm days. They have a whole bunch bubble teas to choose from. My two favorites, because they are more unique are the Ube Halaya and the Peaches and Cream. I like them with the tapioca balls. A delicious things to do in San Francisco.
Note: Boba Guys has several locations in San Francisco: 1522 Fillmore Street (near O'Farrell in Fillmore area), 429 Stockton Street (near Sutter in Union Square area), 826 Divisadero (near McAllister in NOPA area), 8 Octavia (near Haight in Hayes Valley area), 3491 19th Street (near Valencia in the Mission area), 1002 16th Street (near Mission in the Potrero area).
Urban Trek USA is an excellent resource for your San Francisco visit; providing self-guided directions for visitors to explore San Francisco like a long-time resident would, plus tips on whatever would be helpful to those who are visiting San Francisco.

Things to do in San Francisco - Brunch #1 at Comstock Saloon
This #UrbanTrekUSATips by Urban Trek USA, a SMALL GROUP & TOP RATED San Francisco walking tour. Joining an urban trek San Francisco walking tour is the BEST way to get an IMMERSIVE city tour EXPERIENCE.
Finally got to check out the brunch at Comstock Saloon that just started not too long ago. I was quite pleased with the food and cocktails I had. The total tab with taxes but without tip was $60.39, and after I added the tip the total was $72.39. Somewhat pricey but I think it was worth it. The cost of two cocktails ($13 each) added to the total tab; so if you only have one cocktail then you can save a bit. I "had" to try two cocktails for the benefit of people reading this 😃 to provide a good tip.

Things to do in San Francisco - Cheese Tart at Bake Cheese Tart
This #UrbanTrekUSATips by Urban Trek USA, a SMALL GROUP & TOP RATED San Francisco walking tour. Joining an urban trek San Francisco walking tour is the best way to get an IMMERSIVE city tour EXPERIENCE. Get off the tour bus, urban trek with us!
Bake Cheese Tart in the food court of the Westfield San Francisco Centre opened not too long ago and I have always wanted to check it out but the lines have been long. Well, today the line was not that long so I finally tried their cheese tart. It was delicious - especially with coffee. I totally recommend trying their cheese tart even though it cost $3.50 each. Everything is getting expensive in San Francisco.
Note: There was a sign that the strawberry cheese tart is coming. I can't wait to try that one!

Things to do in San Francisco - POPOS #2 (Privately owned public open space)
This #UrbanTrekUSATips by Urban Trek USA a TOP RATED San Francisco private walking and city tour. Joining an urban trek San Francisco walking tour will provide visitors with the BEST city tour in San Francisco for an IMMERSIVE San Francisco EXPERIENCE. Get off the tour bus, urban trek with us!
On a nice day, a good "things to do in San Francisco" is to bring your lunch or just relax a bit at one of the POPOS (privately owned public open space) around San Francisco. There are a bunch of them in the Financial District.
This second POPOS was, to my knowledge, the blueprint for the POPOS concept that started in 1985. The Transamerica Redwood Park at the foot of the Transamerica Building was done in 1972. It has tall redwood trees and a fountain with benches. It truly has an atmosphere of tranquility in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Financial District. It is easily accessible during business hours (closed on weekends).
Tip: An excellent place to grab lunch that is very close by is Sushirrito (475 Sansome Street) just across the street from the Transamerica Redwood Park (Clay Street side). See photos below of some of the sushi burrito items I like to order.
Note: For a complete list of other POPOS in San Francisco, click here.

Things to do in San Francisco - Friday "Free" Lunch (Part 2)
On March 9, 2018, I posted Things to do in San Francisco - Friday "Free" Lunch about Comstock Saloon's (in North Beach neighborhood) Friday free lunch with purchase of two cocktails. This post is part 2. I went back on May 4 after I saw the Instagram post of Jason the chef of Comstock Saloon.
It was a warm afternoon so I ordered the Mint Julep (cocktail #1) and the Pisco Punch (cocktail #2). The free lunch was Offal Falafel, a delicious and colorful dish. I was really hungry that afternoon so the free lunch was not enough to satisfy my hunger and so I also ordered their very delicious burger (not free). I was still "thirsty" after my burger so I ordered another Pico Punch because this is one of my favorite cocktails at the Comstock Saloon. My other favorite is the Cherry Bounce (see part 1 post).

Things to do in San Francisco - Fort Mason Community Garden
This #UrbanTrekUSATips by Urban Trek USA, a TOP RATED SMALL GROUP San Francisco tour. Joining an urban trek walking tour in San Francisco is the BEST San Francisco CITY TOUR to get an IMMERSIVE San Francisco EXPERIENCE. Get off the tour bus, urban trek with us!
Things to do in San Francisco is going to the Fort Mason Community Garden; especially in the Spring when flowers are blooming. If you are planning on going to the Golden Gate Bridge and you are coming from downtown or North Beach or the Wharf area, you will have to take the outbound Muni #30 bus and disembark at the bus stop on Van Ness & North Point / Bay Streets - where Fort Mason is located. This would be a good opportunity for you to check out the community garden in Fort Mason. Refer to map below.
If you are also biking to the Golden Gate Bridge, you will have to go through Fort Mason. Take a detour and check out the community garden.
In addition to the community garden, Fort Mason also has some awesome views as shown in the photos below.
Note: From March to October, Fort Mason has Off The Grid at Fort Mason, which are a whole bunch of food trucks that offer some very good food, every Friday from 5:00 pm - 10:00. If you go to this event, that would also be a good opportunity to check out the community garden.

| This was the waiting list when I was there the last time. The date to the right is when that person was put in the waiting list. Looks like people wait for like 9 years or more to get a plot. Click on this link for the most current waiting list (as of Mar. 20, 2021) in case you are interested. |

| View just outside the community garden of the great meadow. On a nice day on weekends, this is usually packed with "bros" and "Marina chicks." |
